Sig romeo 5 durability?

I received a romeo 5 for father's day and was wondering if anyone had any experience using it on a 45-70 marlin or a 12ga shotgun. The reviews I've seen make it seem pretty durable but I would hate to break it with stout recoil. Thanks for any info.

Someone shot one with a shotgun....not on a shotgun shot the Romeo 5 WITH a shotgun and the damn thing still functioned, I think youll be ok. Awesome gift btw cause i love mine

I saw that one. Alabama arsenal I think. He did make it seem pretty tough.

It's tough. The Crossfire is also tough as nails. Can't go wrong with either or.

Waterproof, shockproof, and lifetime warranty was what mine said...

I put it on a shotgun, and I shoot every weekend. I'll tell you if it takes a crap.

I liked mine. Was budget friendly and worked really well. The largest cal that I had it mounted in was just 7.62x39 though. Nothing negative to say about it at all.

I have 5 of them on everything from 556/762/KSG 12 gauge never have had an issue love them
