My first Sig, picked it up yesterday from Geogria Gun Store! They got them in and in one day were sold out and I missed it, called up Mike to ask when more were coming in and he said one buyer who backed out so I hauled up there! Best price I could find anywhere!

I hear good things about that place

Bass pro had the new ver of the Magpul miad grip so grabbed one and installed it with the larger back strap which puts my finger tip in a much more comfortable position on the trigger for my hand size. Plus it looks better IMO.

Are you going to SBR it? I've been thinking about getting one of these for a while and SBR'ing. My biggest hesitation, besides the price, is I heard they were really gassy suppressed...

No intentions of SBR for the MPX, it's fine with the brace just for range fun same goes for my AR Pistol. Plus after having it a few days I'm not as thrilled... upper to lower fit is gapped more than any AR15 I've owned. Charging handle is flimsy and flops unsupported scratching things up if your not careful, mags and lips are expensive and stiff and sometimes with the bolt locked back it won't let the BCG go forwards all the way and there is no forward assist like an AR. The hand guard has a little slight clicky play in it just by nature, so so trigger.

It's fun at the range but hindsight I don't feel like the cost is justified and to be honest I expected a bit more from it. Not going to sell it but I don't think I would recommend it at 1400 out the door with tax and 60 bucks a pop for mags. Yeah, I'm trying to justify my purchase with the tacticoolness of it and range fun but really I think I've been had just a bit by Sig.

Interesting, I appreciate your feedback on this. I've been wanting to do a SBR 9mm or .45 for some time but I just can't decide which route to go. I do not want an AR version. I've been looking at a MKE variant from Zenith or Atlantic Firearms, a Sig MPX, or and EVO Scorpion. The MKE seems like a solid gun.
