Sigma Pistols on Sale at Academy Sports for $279 - Worth It?

I'm a fan of them. It's a very solid, reliable handgun for $279, and S&W will stand behind it.

Construction is solid, ergonomics are good, very good sights. It's major drawback is the trigger, which does get better with use, but it will never be dramatically better. If you can live with the trigger, you will probably like the gun.

If you like to have a trigger finger work out, it's not bad. The price is very good compared to local dealers.
