You can also shoot real low pressure subs where there is not enough gas to unlock the bolt. We have a 308 AR we do this on and it is hearing safe and can still ring the gong at 200M.

Unless the suppressor is using wipes, I don't think the report is any quieter for anybody but the shooter.

Yep, holding the action closed on my Glock 19 and my 22/45 with my thumb has proved to me that it's not worth the money for the amount of performance gain.

ETA: I would still love to have that Beretta bolt lock mod, it's badass!

What does the bolt lock mod consist of? Is it DIY and simply require removing a part, or does it require machining?
