Not sure where that comes from but I’ve always been told honey needs to be locally harvested near you for best benefits of allergy relief.
Bigger issue is having it over processed by heating and removing out the pollen to help with flow (most retail honey). Raw honey that leaves the pollen in is better for you. Raw honey that isn't over filtered has a different flavor depending on what the bees harvested.
I have had 2 sinus surgeries...I use this every day. Very easy to control the flow.
I had two sinus surgeries also, one in the 90's and another one in the 2010's when the polyps came back. The only good thing about them was the buckets of painkillers the doc gave me. Same doc both times. Painful as hell both times., but they worked.
Make sure to use distilled water not tap when irrigating with a Neti pot or squeeze bottle biggest thing to help pressure is actually an anti inflammatory like Aleve plus the sinus rinse just be aware the rinse will piss your sinuses off but is helping
Or if you have a really good filter in your fridge, use that water plus 30 seconds in the microwave. Warm water helps dissolve the saline. But NEVER use straight tap water. Hell I won't even drink that crap.

This^. Twice a day. After a couple of days the saline will release upper sinus oysters that will choke a horse.
Neil med rinse daily once the pollen starts.
Generic Flonase spray and Mucinex when needed.
Local honey helps some. Find an apiary as close to your house as possible. That pollen is what’s causing your allergies.
When all else fails and I get a sinus infection anyway 10 days of antibiotics.

I use an aloe vera leaf if it is bad, use saline when my sinuses start getting punky. I buy honey from a local gentleman. I get honey from 4 different locations he has hives setup, all within 15 miles of me.
