Vetanarian (sp?) meds for dogs

The four brothers up here I grew up with and talk about all the time just hit me with some bad news. The youngest Troy's dog Nikko passed this morning. I did their dog sitting when they went out of town and I loved that dog like he was my own. We he got restless he wouldn't settle down until I sat near him on the sofa and let him thrn he would fall asleep with his head in my lap. He was 15 yrs. old and weighted over 110 lbs.. What a Beautiful dog and friend. He will be missed.

I was just tending to him….he is just laying around, not real active - naturally. But he seems much better than he was pain and anxiety wise. So we are just taking it easy and watching t.v. Together.
Hopefully all is well. We love all our 4 legged baby. Dog, hogs, cats. We'd have more if I let the wife grabem all up

We even had a baby squirrel once. Just like Bob Ross lmao. His name was squirt. We went fishing one day and guess he fell out of the nest. But we walked right up to me and would have climbed up my leg if I didn't scope him up.

I didn’t know where to put this….im sure it’s not the right place but :
Our pup is not doing well….hasnt been himself over the last two days. Really mopey, not real hungry, haven’t seen him go to bathroom but once and I couldn’t tell anything from that (he just urinated).
Fortunately the wife got him an appointment this afternoon with the vet so I’m hoping she will be able to figure something out.
Our pets tend to become part of the family, a lot of times even more than some members of the family are !! We love our little guy - TOBY - so here is to praying for his health !!
I know there are a few that understand completely how it is. Thanks for any prayers, comfort, understanding that any of you have !!
I will know more after vet today…..appointment at 3:00 I think is what the wife said.

Any updates on little Toby? I really hope he’s doing much better.

Thanks for asking. He is still really mopey and just laying around a lot. I am sure the meds have a good bit to do with it too but I am just not used to him being this way. I don’t think he is improving much but I don’t think he has gotten worse either, if that makes any sense.
I am thinking I want to take him back to the vet but I guess I will give the meds a day or two longer to work before I start in on the ole lady to take him.
Hopefully he will start showing improvement signs soon, as I said.
It is like we get so involved with our pets that we love them like children and they become part of the family in just about every instance.
I will try to keep y’all updated if there are any changes and again, I really appreciate your support and concern.

Keeping ya'll in my prayers. Sorry I missed this earlier. How old is Toby? Grace is 9½ years old and been on phenobarbital for five years due to seizures. She's slowing down a little. Doesn't jump on the bed like she just used to.

Please keep us updated.

its been said before and worth saying again... Dogs are better than people. I hope yours get better And you too!
Mega thanks !!
And that goes for all that care enough to ask or comment even. I do believe in a lot of cases dogs are better than people. They damned sure seem like it !!
