So what Slings are you using?

Standard issue? Repro? Real Deal?

Do you use them for Form or Function?

I just bought a Turner Sling. M1907 for my Garand. ( AMAZING QUALITY)

I am learning how to use it.

I think the most functional slings of all times are the US Standard issue Green Web Slings.

Pics later. I promise.

Honestly, not a sling guy. They take up too much room in the safe and I can't afford one of those fancy safe rooms to display them all...

One day I should learn how to use one. No, seriously...'cause right now I just use the shooting bench.

I have the web slings on my M1's. Mostly for looks, but I try to get period correct. My 1945 Springfield has a 1945 dated sling. 1955 H&R a 1955 dated sling, etc. I do have a period looking leather sling but took it off in favor of the web slings.

I will use the real ones if available, on my Nagant it's original with RIFLE.
