Flat range, "slow fire" drills are an excellent method for working on accuracy, draw speed, reloads........but mostly accuracy. When I say accuracy, I am including trigger control, proper grip, recoil management, follow-through, sights, etc. You can run and drop as quickly and expertly as you like, if you can't hit the other guy (usually before he hits you), you ain't gonna win that fight. The quicker you end the fight, the less shot you'll get.

Run n' gun drills are excellent as well, but need to be added to "slow fire group shooting".
