Small Airplane land TODAY on I-985 north bound, right after the intersection I-85/985

I was coming back home on I-85 North and I saw a GDOT sign saying "Accident on I-985 all lanes closed." - I saw the accident when I passed by driving on Satellite Blvd in Buford. Traffic was closed for hours.

The plane is currently sitting in the northbound lanes of Interstate 985 in Gwinnett County.

We have a couple staying with us due to the tornado damage. Poor guy drives all the way from Griffin to Gainesville every day for work. It took him 4.5 hours to get to our house yesterday due to this incident.

my dad was on i985 south...about 15 cars back from the plane after they stopped all traffic. he said it was wild. people all out of their cars taking selfies with the plane in the background.
