Sorry, just not seeing it. Maybe just a younger version but head not the same, body shape not the same. Colors not the same. Pattern is similar but not the same to my eyes.

Color and pattern can vary, they're not always exact. The pattern in the OP's pic doesn't have the perfect 'hershey kisses', but is indeed a Copperhead.

Is a copper head.....see the hour glass markings, fangs and venom come next.

Yep gots lots of them and rattlesnakes around the house on this Mtn we live on.It is indeed a copperhead.appears to be a young one.Watch out for several more.They usually have about 16 brothers and sisters!

To be sure you should pick it up and lick the head. If it tastes like peppermint, it's a copperhead
