I was getting the mail and there were two dead baby snakes on my sidewalk. Any idea what they are?

Ringneck, he won't hurt you...eats bugs and worms till he gets big enough for mice and frogs

Unfortunately they won't be eating anything unless they are really good at playing dead.

I had a 3 foot black snake wrapped around a bird feeder the other morning. Carried him over to the tree line and showed him off.

Yep ringneck snake. Common harmless snake. I find garter snakes in my yard every once in a while. I dont mind them at all. If its poisonous snake however he wont live long. Especially since my rugrat loves playing out in the yard.
