So, are the NFA Branch Offices going to shut down?

If (OK when) the Gov't shutdown happens tomorrow, will the NFA Branch Offices be impacted? Should we expect even more delays in the processing of our NFA stamps?

Lol CNN says "gun permit"? Sounds like NICS.

Last I checked they determined the NFA branch to be essential, but not sure if that includes examiners. The sequester did end up hurting us after it was believed that it would not though....
 
I just called them and spoke to Mary....their office is actually not sure at this point. She said there will be some examiners in tomorrow but she's not sure how many. They are waiting on the word from up on high.
 
NICS isn't affected because it's 'law enforcement' according to the NRA web site. No info though on NFA. My guess is that they will be slowed down.
