So, are the NFA Branch Offices going to shut down?

E-file should be a REQUIREMENT, not an option. That would save a lot of keystrokes and submissions could still be made, even if they are not in the office.
Get on the site to comment about the new proposed rule then. The new proposal will effectively eliminate e form 1 & 4s.
I'm searching for it now... Where do you comment on their proposed rulings? I can't find crap on the ATF site.

Just called to check on a form 4 that has been pending since Feburary. I asked what their estimated wait time was now and the lady said "Due to the shutdown we are behind and not sure how long it will be."
nfa tracker says january f4s are showing up so for you, next month. i have an april and was hoping for an xmas present. not gonna happen.
Just got my stamp in for my SBR yesterday, so things are moving again. Don't know how much it was delayed, but it was 'approved' just before the shutdown so it couldn't be more than a few weeks.
