Just so you know I worked at Wiley outdoor sports growing up. I tuned bows and sold firearms mounted scopes and other stuff. I was the goto bow guy in Alabama. So I've been in the business as well.Yes, you are.
First, let me say as someone who has worked behind the counters at slow and busy FFL, I hate those that follow the tracking number. On the busy days, we could get double digits in transfers and incoming lines. Could take a few hours, even the next day.
If you're familiar with this FFL transfer policy and time lines, why would you "push a button" with them? That's just going to move you to the back of the list. You should have waited at least a day before contacting them.
Patience is something you need to learn, or open up your own FFL and then ship it straight to you!
Also, maybe look into a shop that will do same day transfer in your area. I know some would charge extra for speedy service.
I have no patience right now. My PTSD meds will be here tomorrow thank the Good Lord Almighty. There's an entire Facebook group dedicated to customers like you Bypass. "Gunshop and Range Stories." ;-)
I've never seen a combat finish that requires squiggly lines. LOLNah it's supposed to be a "combat finish" whatever that means.
take it outside and beat it with a chain then use some wood stain on itI've never seen a combat finish that requires squiggly lines. LOL
I don't have one can I borrow yours?View attachment 8522506 Hit it with your purse.
I think that marks on a gun like that give it character. When I refinish guns ( I am doing a Ruger Hawkeye II 25-06 now ) and he feels the same way. That piece out to be easy to find to replace if it bothers you. At least the color of furniture is attractive. It's not that baby crap yellow birch.Nah it's supposed to be a "combat finish" whatever that means.
