Russia is kicking ass with it against people who are also using it or worse ..... and to be perfectly fair russia is using an a k74 not an a k47

and they just switched to the 5.45 AK12

aye, both weapons are an engineering compromise. Sadly there isn't a mass producible, easily manufactured alternative at the moment for either platform, not for the everyman.
