No doubt. As cheap as they can be found from time to time why wouldn't I? Although, this time I did dump my stash of 7.62x39 so I do have less motivation to pick up another one.Yet you'll have another one soon, yes you will

Exactly! That is why I don't like Communist Block weapons. I do not care for weapons used to oppress people.
I prefer weapons designed to defend freedom and that support free market economies. It is a matter of principle.

People who want to shoot the other guy (fast) before they get shot.
That technology (along with a better trained soldier) is a main reason why the kill ratio for the U.S. vs. "the enemy" (whomever they may be) is so much greater.
But now remember... I truly love AK's. I value their reliability just like I do in my Glocks.
lost all interest in the 7.62x39. I still have a ton of 5.45x39 but I also own an AR in that caliber. Perhaps the 7.62x39 will spark my interest again one day. For now though, I am done with it.Read that earlier in the week, was surprised you did that with the current "geo-political" crap goin on
So..precision guided munitions, infrared targeting, bombs that drops more bombs and Helicopter gunships aren't the reason?
We haven't fought a modern army in half a century... wanna avoid an 5.56 AR, hide behind a wall, wanna avoid a 7.62? Hide behind some armor steel.
/trollface
Wanna know why I like AR's better though? WEIGHT. if they had the AK's function and mechanics and the AR's weight, i'd buy whatever lovechild it was.
