So the AK-47 is pre-historic and outdated for battle?

I was watching The Yukon People on Netflix the other day and one of the guys had an AR jammed on camera, not a bad rifle but not a great choice for extreme cold weather!

I had a car that broke down once. I'll never buy another car.

Wouldn't the AK74 be the "best of both worlds"? Better ballistics for better accuracy and AK piston design for reliability? Barrier-penetration aside....

x39 isn't inaccurate because of ballistics really, its the design of the gun/bolt has more flex, looser chambers to allow for reliability, and generally thinner barrels. That said most military grade ammo is pretty ****ty in regards to accuracy as is.

Ok, I guess 5.45 out of an AK won't be any more accurate but will just have more range.

Give this a watch. It's explains everything very well.
