Credit card and debit card and it bit me in the ass once. I flew into Logan airport got my rental and was headed to Hopkinton. Immediately as you leave the airport is a toll booth. If I recall it's like 3 bucks. Here I am with zero cash. The teller gave me a ration of crap and handed me a form to mail the cash to them... Which I did. Now I have a $50 and a $10 buried in my wallet.

I make all my purchases with a debit card, but I always have $100 cash on me just in case.
