There's deadlines for everything else, why isn't there a deadline on when they suppose to determine it by?

Should be either voted or tabled in Senate committee this week or next.

Bans are dead in the water though, as are mag limits. The real worry is mandatory background checks.

Too many people see these as harmless, when they actually are worse than any of the above.

Think about it... they would establish the precedent that the government can require citizens get government permission before transferring private property.

There is nothing today a citizen can legally own that requires the governments' pre-approval to buy or sell.

This is one of the slipperiest slopes you can think of.

Agreed. This is worse than other things they could pass.

So next week we will find out?!? So prices and stock will go back to normal!

If the background checks pass, you might as well shut down this site unfortunately.

Not exactly... I mean it'll prevent felons for sure... It'll increase business for dealers. I am sure most stores who do free transfer won't do free transfer anymore.

Won't make too much difference to most. I'm willing to bet (as if needed) that the felons will still get the same guns at the same prices that are getting now. They can take their background checks and stick em in their background!
