Just got back to Athens Ga from Daytona beach Fla. Almost 900 mile round trip. I put her in overdrive and made it home in 6 hours 10 minutes! Only one fuel stop on the way down but had to make 2 on the way back. Last stop I only put in 2 gallons. Time to put some non ethanol in there and let her rest a couple weeks..... Maybe.
When I get a new truck I want to keep the miles low but when I get a new bike I want to put the miles on it.

My first two stroke dirt bike was a KDX200 that I bought new in 1992 and rode around for a couple of years on an abandoned WW2 Army base (Camp Claiborne) in Forest Hills, Louisiana. After owning RMX's, CR250's, YZ250's, KX250's, YZ250's, CRF450's, DRZ400's I'm back where I started. I just bought a 2003 KDX220R last week. Can't wait to go ride it around Georgia and take it back to Forest Hills when I visit family in La next year.

Been riding in the dirt since 1980, the street since '96. On my 20th street bike, currently a GSX-R750 for street and track...

Had 7 Ducati's, a KTM SuperDuke 990, few CBR's, an FZ1, an Aprilia Tuono 1000R Factory, couple Triumphs, some other Suzuki's, and even a Shadow Sabre 1100...

Next bike will be the new Speed Triple, the new Monster 1200, something like that...

Also ride in the dirt on a Sportsman 570 and my wife has a Street Triple R 675 and a 400 Quadsport...
