That’s what this dirty b is for 😂Yea, I have a KLR 650. I figure if it ain't dirty, you ain't havin fun
I miss my 03 UC in a bad way. I have a 97 police RK the needs intake gaskets which typically would be a simple fix, but in 2020 a lot was going on and on of my friends decide to "help" me and started taking it apart. Well we had to close our shop and everything got moved to my basement and I have yet to try and find all the screws and such. Once I do get it back going I'd love to come check out your shop. It's and 06 with around 80k on it. I picked it up off of the Trader about a year ago. I put around 8k on it this year. I cleaned it up, did all the PM and it lived in the garage as my last favorite...until the little lady started riding with me...
I added the Saddlemen, adjustable passenger boards, dropped in Feuling 543 Cams with tunes from Fuel Moto and added a new radio and speakers. She might get a big bore kit this year, not sure yet. It a full V&H exhaust on it too. Sounds great and it's quicker now, but it's still the slowest bike in the garage.
Same color as my Dad's Ultra Glide Classic. Shame on you saying a Harley rides better than a Goldwing........I haven't ridden his. I haven't ridden a full dresser, but I have ridden a Goldwing and a FatboySold my '08 Gold Wing last June. The heat was bringing me down and I was having hip problems. But I've been missing the ride.
Early this week, I found a 2018 Road King with 3200 miles on Facebook Marketplace. Turns out it was a Ford dealership in Blue Ridge. Went up and looked at it on Wednesday and bought it. My son drove me up there today to pick it up.
We removed the heel shifter because my size 13 boots wouldn't fit. Checked the fluids and tires, topped off the gas and rode non-stop 72 miles back home. What an awesome bike. Plenty of power and torque for this fat guy. Rode better than my old Gold Wing. I'm glad to be back in the saddle.
