So who all rides motorcycles?????

That's the only reason I'm riding my KLR 650. Had they not taken my low ball offer, I was enroute to make an offer on a Harley. That was near 20yrs ago. Still have the KLR and still love it. Simple and it's always ready when I am

When we used to run to Daytona for bike week every year it was amazing passing all the broke down Harleys littering the shoulders of I95, as we cruised by on our assortment of Jap Crap.

The older ones I'm sure. I have to say some of those Jap bikes can be made to sound and look pretty good

KLR 650s are classic. They run forever. I had its lighter brother the DR 650. I put over 55,000 miles on that thumper. Some of those miles were hard thrashing on two track sand, rock and mud trails. Never had an issue with it.

I get it, hard not to love that. That's what I like about it, go anywhere and do almost anything. I have done just that. My opinion is, if it ain't dirty you ain't havin fun yet. Even every street machine I ever had I'd get a wild hair and ride it off road

Went up to the mtns today... there is a new motorcycle dealership down the street from Jim's Smoking Cue... They carry Aprilia, CF Moto and MotoGuzzi and I think some Honda...

The police presence today was unlike anything I have ever seen before. 2 or 3 counties, Sheriff's Dept and GSP everywhere, working together. We had GSP following us for miles... Someone said that they are less concerned with bikers, and more putting pressure on all the car clubs that come up every weekend from Atlanta... That the locals are really fed up and want huge crackdowns...

Any time we even considered playing a bit, there was another patrol car on the side of the road, or following us. I remember when I would play on RBR maybe 40 weekends a year... and over a 9 or 10 year period, I never once saw a single cop on that road. Now there are several, every time...

Might need to seek out greener pastures in other areas till our usual roads cool off...
