Actually, we recently completed the Ford Performance School in Asheville. It was the "Ford ST Experience".

We got to autocross the 25 Explorer ST (my wife has a 24). First time autocrossing, took a podium spot. Had the fastest time, but got a 2 second penalty for hitting a cone.

Got me thinking... and looking for an old VW Rabbit or older Fox body. 😁

Took the 'ol Ultra Classic up to Dahlonega for some lunch at Frogtown.

First time out in quite a while last weekend with a run from Dalton, over Fort (crawling with Cops) to Ellijay, Suches, 180, 17, and 60 back around... felt good to be out..but MAN....were the cops crawling out on the frequent fun sections ALL DAY.... still a good day in the saddle though!

They are cracking down on bikes and cars this year like never before. Apparently the governor's wife almost got run off the road on RBR by some clowns in a car, and so GSP and local LEOs are working together to reign in all the car clubs and bikes...

Lake Burton and Highlands, NC are gonna be my go to for awhile...

Last Sunday was very nice. A little cool in the AM but nice later. I’m retired and live north of Dahlonega, about 8 miles from Suches so I can ride during week when there’s not much traffic on the roads. Right now I’m jonesing to ride my dirt bike. Unfortunately they haven’t opened Whissenhunt OHV area yet this year. Not sure what’s going on. Perhaps deep state in the US Forest Service in protest of the downsizing, IDK.

Indeed...the SuperHawk had SUPER low miles....and just sold. That was it's LAST ride with our crew... the RC51 stays in the stable and I love to ride it...
