So you got a diesel truck. Runaway diesel engine. How tight will your butt pucker?

And if the right turbo seal goes it will use its own engine oil for fuel.
That’s what happened on my 350 big cam Cummins

Was climbing out of a paper mill , wide open in third or fourth gear , the turbo came apart and the oil line that feeds the turbo bearings then supplied enoigh oil to make the engine run away .

Split two pistons , bent some rods and broke the crank .

The oil coming out of the stacks looked like one of those old movies from an Oklahoma oil well .

I have a wooden board tucked next to my battery so I can grab it and kill the turbo suction if I’m able to get to it in time.

One thing to never spray near your intake on a diesel……silicone.
