So you want to build a Coca-Cola Gun safe

Unfortunately most all “safes” are RSC’s cause level II RSC or higher (real safe) is so expensive new. Most used ones don’t have the correct shelves.

Most people are NOT willing to pay over 10k to keep 5k with of guns that makes no sense.

The issue I see most people buy the bargain basement 1000 safes and the protection is pretty low.

Most bad guys know this and angle grinders vs an RSC can go pretty fast. However it is better than nothing and protects you against smash and grabbing.

Now as long as they don’t power tools you will have much better odds. One of our local sherrifs had a liberty they broke in with hand tools but never go into the contents. The local liberty dealer had the beat up safe on the showroom for a long time it was a cool example.

The coke machine looks cool but with no fire protection and stock lock don’t offer much protection. However it’s a super cool piece of “art” and talking piece.

I wonder if have any stats on how many dates get breeched yearly in the United States or something like that. That would be interesting to see and help evaluate risk.

big thing to remember is its not a safe. so unless crooks know, are they gonna take time to try and get a few diet cokes or change from the machine. maybe they check it, probably they dont. key would be to have a cheap $100 lock box safe with a few cheap 22;s and a single shot in it. maybe even take out the firing pins so they cant use them.. heck, put a air pod in the stock so you can find them..
