The wife called SSA at 9:37 this morning to try to make an appointment, it’s been over 30 minutes so far….

I’ve got the number to the Anniston office just got off the phone with them this morning a lot to ease your contact in a lot better English spoken

Just got answered….11:30am. Near 2 hour hold….for an appointment to be able to drop off paperwork at the Villa Rica office….. this **** is broken.

I went to a SS office a few times for card-related stuff. I got the idea the vast majority of people were there to apply for disability. That same office, one time, I saw a line wrapped around the building and no one was near age 60+. Anyway, my point is they might be dealing with all kinds of volume that has nothing to do with what we'd think. Hope you get it sorted.

This ain’t got a ****ing thing to do with socialism asshole. This is money we paid our entire working life for this very purpose. So taking care of oneself financially is socialism now? I hope you lose every single dime you put up for your retirement, I hope they take it from you and give it to a lazy man that just will not work. THAT would be socialism…I sure hope I misunderstood the point you were trying to make.

The phone system is pathetic, wait, connect and cant hear the conversations due to snap, crackle pop. First time no big deal, but now I think its to encourage you to hang up. SSI has worked fine, a bit disappointed that my cost of living raise actually cost me $2 per month.
