Solar eclipse glasses

#14 welding lense,check Tractor supply or local welding shop.
You do not need the entire welding hood,just lenses.I run the ol school 4×5 lense

That is interesting, everything I previously read said 14 or darker. Coming from Nasa, 12 is good to know. My welding mask is variable 9-13, already tried it out and put my sunglasses on under it just in case. Made myself up some viewing boxes also just for fun. Rosewood

i am thinking that everyone is CYA on the raring. remember if 12 is too bright, its still save. at that point its viewing comfort. the shield is still blocking the harmful light...
