I have found a source for older Mosins. Thought I would share. Not your not 1940's stuff, think more collectible. The older ones are 91 models not 91/31s. Here is what Chip had last time I was there. He gets others in from a collector. I got a 1916 and a 1899 from him. Price are not cheap, but fair for what they are. Most have original stocks. Chip sucks at taking pictures, but he could let you know what he has.
VKT - very good condition, mostly matching parts.
Sako - matching stock very good condition
Remington 1917 91. matching stock, not matching bolt. I don't think it was exported.
New England Westinghouse - good condition
And other early Russian 1900's to 1918.
Also has a M38 and M44
and others mosins.
