Speed traps, lets get a list going.......

Chambers Road in Henry County. Speed limit is 35....but everyone thinks it is 45. I see them write tickets all day long....sometimes two cops will be working the speed trap at a time. If you drive down Chambers Road, you better do 35.

No joke bro. They nailed me on McCullough Rd a few months ago. I swear that used to be 45 when I was growing up and now it's been dropped to 35. Course I didn't notice that while doing 50. It is a heavily populated area so I agree with the speed limit. I just wish I knew it.

Oh hey this is kinda related, or maybe I should start a spinoff thread,

anyone using a laser jammer ?

and anyone using a radar detector and what brand?

I love how it is claimed that the speed limit is all about safety and that you are being fined to "learn a lesson" yet when have you EVER seen a police officer driving the speed limit on the interstate. Above the law I guess......

The problem isn't speed, it's people that barely passed the license test and can't drive properly to save their lives. Then toss in a cell phone, or kids screaming in the backseat and boom you have an "accident". If people would actually PAY ATTENTION to what they are doing when driving the number of vehicle related deaths would plummet. No matter the speed limit.

Not just Locust Grove, All of Henry CO. Watch out on 75 from Stockbridge exit 228 down to the Grove exit 212... really bad on the frontage road Industrial Bldv by Bellamy Strickland..

...and treat others with respect on the road. there
is nothing stopping that guy from following you
home, pulling you out of your turd mobile and kickin'
your teeth in.:)

How about keeping it inside of 10 mph over and you won't have to worry about it.

No problem
If you see the sign

My GPS shows the speed limit on the screen
And displays it next to the vehicle speed
It knows where you are and what the speed limit is in that exact spot

Between that and the WAZE app. I've not seen the need to buy a radar detector or a laser jammer
Although it would be really cool to know that the revenue collection laser wouldn't work while They had it aimed at me

And yet, you could prevent all potential contact with the "revenue generators" by simply obeying those large black and white signs with numbers & letters on them ....... it really isn't that difficult, I assure you

Agreed. I think people have a disconnect when they get behind the wheel and act like complete idiots. Kind of like the majority of commenters on YouTube. They don't have to say/do it to someone's face so they act a fool.
Being a courteous driver goes a long way
