Stipple the wood grips? No, you gotta stipple the frame and slide, and maybe the barrel. Definitely gotta do the hammer too. No one wants an unstippled hammer.
I got a Dremel you can borrow. Did wonders on my grandfather's WW1 1911.

Ok so one done with the one side it helps with grip but starting to splinter and flake easy...thinking I should clear coat or put nale polish to help. So far having good luck with the multi tool
