I’ve never deer hunted but I have a Ga DNR account and have taken the Hunter safety course to get a Resident Ga Waterfowl and Migratory Bird license in 2019. Is the same Hunter safety course used or is there a different one for deer?

There's only one.
While you waterfowl hunters are far less likely to mistake another hunter for your intended game,
and you won't be shooting at wiggling bushes thinking your targeted game animal is making those leaves rustle,
you have to have the same safety training as everybody else because you may encounter deer hunters as you walk through the field to the wetlands where you'll hunt the birds. You should have the same training class that they took you can do the things that make you look less like a deer to them.

If you were born AFTER Jan1,1961 you have to take the Ga Hunter safety course
