Stupid things you have seen or heard at gun shows!

now not at a show but I was in a store once and saw a guy pick up a box a tula 7.62x54 and went "look how cheap this 7.62 is! I cant wait to try it in my AR 10!" I then stopped the guy and proceeded to inform him of his mistake and by the look on his face i think he was still contemplating trying it

I don't find any of this to be stupid at all.
As for the sign, It was probably more of an ask first because "I dont want every tire kicking, funnel cake fingered clown at the show destroying inventory" ( those idiots that handle a gun by the metal instead of the stock or grips when checking it out is one of my pet peeves anyway.)

As for those that want to carry themselves like a thug or a street urchin, the policy sounds responsible to me. Keep movin

Same thing for a lady talking about shooting her husband.

Just sayin.......

The dealer just had average rifles and hand guns out on the table in the open with signs saying "Do not touch or handle". I asked to pick up a used AK he had and the answer was no. I asked how can a person with cash in hand check out a rifle if you don't allow them to pick it up? Answer " our policy ". I had cash in hand and wanted the gun but he said no. I walked! Too me that's stupid.

"The fact that the receiver isn't marked '5.56' isn't a problem. You can run 5.56 through a .223 marked gun with no issues at all. It's the same round." -- Dealer trying to sell me a Mini 14.
Yeah, I really like the response that "223 and 5.56 are the same. one is just civilian and the other is military"... o...tay!

*Wife picks up a purple LC9 that she likes*

Seller - "It's nice huh?"

Wife - "Yes. I've been looking for a small 9mm to take to work in my purse and for the nightstand on my of the bed for a while."

Seller - "Oh you don't want one of those. You want a .45. Even kills a person's soul. I just so happen to have one that's..."

Not to be rude but....from the owner's manual:

The RUGER® MINI-14® RANCH RIFLES are chambered for the .223
Remington (5.56mm) cartridge. The Ranch Rifle is designed to use either
standardized U.S. military or factory loaded sporting .223 (5.56mm) cartridges
manufactured in accordance with U.S. industry practice. See “Ammunition
Notice” & “Ammunition Warning”, below.
I hate it when a manual is WRONG!
