Stupid things you have seen or heard at gun shows!

Well, write Ruger and help tens of thousands of idiots to stop blowing themselves and their rifle up with NATO spec ammunition, LOL!View attachment 731919

I'm thinking this . . . . .

Hi-points are used by some police departments and swat teams.

I like hi-points I know they work but I will never belive this statement.
This is actually true, the High Point C-9 is the issued sidearm for the elite special forces of F**ckthatistan. They are not to be trifled with...
Also the primary sidearm of the crack troops of the "Community Organizers" in Chi-raq.

I was checking out a Tavor at a local gun store in Smyrna that rhymes with Shmadventure Shmoutdoors and the sales associate told me that, when she was working with the IDF in Israel, she used the same rifle, but primarily those chambered in 7.62. At the time (and to the present, as far as I know) this rifle hadn't ever been produced in 7.62x39 OR 7.62x51. IWI has been working on a 7.62x51 version, but none had yet been produced. I smiled politely and nodded.

I'd like to add to the discussion but I haven't been to a show in a while, they just aren't worth it.

I imagine Eastman shows still suck, especially since they went to the much smaller venue at miller park last time in cobb iirc
You would imagine correct, Eastman shows still suck. Yet, I keep going. Rather cheap entertainment.

No ****, there I was;

Guy at a show in Michigan during the 90's wanted me to believe he was on retainer with several Sheriff's agencies in the state as a Sniper.

The only thing is, he probably weighed 400-500lbs before lunch. He was insistent that he had to keep it on the D/L because none of the agencies wanted anyone to know they had a hired gun on their staff.
If you want some entertainment, go to a gun show where you haven't been see much. Pretend you have never held a gun in your life and go talk to some of the dealers.

and everyone there is a "reconrangersniperspecialforcespathfindersealdiver"

I guess they don't let former army cooks, supply specialists or truck drivers into gun shows
