Summertime Flu?

We went to Tampa for a week, last week…kept the hotel room about 72 degrees, outside was reaching near 100…. Had a great time until we got back… I got sick on our return trip Sunday, the wife got sick Monday…I’ve been running a fever that has hit 103.3 at one point, and we tend to run 97.6 average… Wife went to work Tuesday and Wednesday, but is home sick again today… Has anyone else had a bad summertime cold lately? I did an expired Covid test yesterday that I had left over from work, and it showed positive. We’ve been running the OTC route so far, but seem to be passing it back and forth…. I tell you, I don’t believe that Covid is anything more than a corona influenza strain, but a strong one.
Any tips and tricks to help kick this in the ass?

another vote for the zinc. I picked up some bug recently. Headache, snotty, sneezing. powered thru with nyquil. Its been 2 weeks but still have a stupid little cough. Wife got it but she takes regular doses of vitamins, zinc, elderberry. She was over it in a day or so.

my daughter just got back from a cruise Friday and now has covid...the new and improved version. Want to get sick? Go on a cruise...

3 people I know have severe sinus infections along with ear infections.

Just getting over what I guess was a cold. It came with a cough and chest congestion, lasted nearly 3 weeks.

I know several people who've had or has the flu. The fastest way over it for us, is oregano tincture then B17, Black seed oil, zinc, D3 and I can't remember the name of the last vitamin. Usually has it KOd in a day and half or 2 at the most.

Summer is the worst traveling time for me. Everybody has their thermostats set differently, pollen, heat advisories. I hibernate during the summer, otherwise I get sick.
