I wouldn't hold my breath on them being removed....I just bought one, just under 2 weeks from submission to approval on a Form4 trust. Not much of a wait.

Suppressor purchase now or wait?

Lets just say that you have $700 into a $500 suppressor after you figure the tax stamp and the ATF takes the suppressors off the NFA items list. You still have $700 into a suppressor and what is the fair market price for a used suppressor?
Now that suppressors aren’t a controlled item requiring ATF licensing to make one, what happens when every Bubba makes some in their garage and china starts importing them by the boatload?
Do you think the price will go UP?
Sure there will be a rush to get some when they remove the suppressor from the list but long term prices will go down if they get off the list.
I submitted on eform 4 individual on 5/21 and it's been crickets. Same thing every time. I think it's wishful thinking that this passes. They'll keep tinkering with the bill and it will get removed. I don't think adding the SBR provision helped it's chances at all.
go to your local gun store and put one on layaway. In a few weeks you’ll know if you are filing a form 4 or bringing it home without filing
yeah them adding the SBR amendment probably ****ed any chances of it playing out in our favor. But who knows maybe it'll work out. I would go ahead and buy whatever, the gov is the last thing you want to wait on to do anything
