All branches of the government consider themselves above the laws the were created for and are paid and elected to uphold. They live in a world where theyre pardoned, have the right to refuse to testify, and have their crimes covered up and swept under the rug. We are literally second rate citizens here only to sustain their quality of life.

Every politician is corrupt to some degree, whether theyre accepting huge pay offs, getting their friends out of trouble, using campaign donations for whatever dirty **** they use it for, or getting out of parking tickets - its all corruption, and they should all be held accountable for their actions to the fullest extent of the law.

The point is - the ATF keeps trying **** just to see if it'll stick. They're wasting tax money, energy, and time just because theres no repercussions for their actions. It'll be a miracle if anything ever changes that.

If i call the cops and falsely report that my neighbor commited a crime, i get in trouble. They just go about their business. Not exactly the same scenario but it fits the description.

Yeah as long as nobody goes to prison (or even gets fired) ATF will just keep on steamrolling tax paying citizens and dare them to do anything about it.
It's kinda like my earlier comment. YOU can be right and have the letter of the law on your side. But it doesn't matter after they shoot you and seize all your ****. They act illegally all the time. And as that line in the Blues Brothers went ...

Agencies now have to ONLY enforce laws that are made by representative lawmakers instead of making their own laws and rules or reinterpreting laws to suit their political leanings.

Probably the most restrictive ruling to government abuse of power and over reach in the last century.

Remove any and ALL Qualified Immunity from every federal agent including FBI, DOJ, ATF and things will change. When they violate a persons rights, have go to prison and their families are homeless because their assets are seized they’ll quit skirting the laws.

The ruling is outstanding but the question is who is going to enforce it on agencies, who will go to jail for violating it and I for one have zero confidence any government agency will comply if they can get away with it. The AG has defied a Congressional Subpoena, was found in contempt of Congress and is walking free and laughing while Steve Bannon goes to prison.

This will be interesting to observe how this plays out in the coming years. In essence , I will give you zero f**** one way or the other. I choose non -participation in the laws I disagree with and try not to but myself in a position where I am affected.

The biggest problem I see with all of this is we have to depend on a dysfunctional , tribal , politically polarized Congress to pass laws addressing these issues and solve problems. The Maga Taylor Greene's and Alexandria Ocasio - Cortez's in Congress create more problems than they ever solve.
