Yea but think about it Save the home and land you have or just let it wash away...I think i read somewhere else that he had no Insurance and that's what pushed him harder or something.

If he had been real smart he wouldn't have built/bought a home in a flood plain. Sooner or later it's going to get you.

The insurance company would probably not pay what his house was worth even if it was flooded. Insurance companies are the biggest scams on earth. Everything is great so long as you don't have to file a claim, then you find out how truly useless it can be.

That is a smart man, but I wonder how long he worked on that to get that many sand bags filled and that trench was all around the property, which was not small.

My Guess is that he had Help I would guess that he Hired some of the Surrounding Neighbors to help.
