Taurus PT111 G2 Magazine Option

Hello all...
I don't usually post on this side of the ODT..
But just picked up an inexpensive Taurus PT111 G2 last night and got to researching Internet for more info on it.

Came across a possibly little known fact...

These little Tauri accept SIG P226 mags!

Seems to seat and function well when repeat unloading by hand...
Also locks back when mag is emptied.
Will test at range soon.

Just thought I'd share the info with the ODT...

Yep they work, and the cheaper MecGar mags for the 226 work great as well.

24/7 Taurus mags 17 round are spose to work also

That's what I have heard as well, but I believe that's the 24/7 Gen 2 mags isn't it???
all 24/7, 24/7 Pro, 24/7 Pro D/S are on recall so I don't imagine that mags are easy to find for those, course mags never have been easy to find for any taurus semi except the PT1911 which takes conventional 1911 mags.

I got the MecGar 226 mag for mine. It doesn't work well. Every 3 or 4 rounds I get a failure to feed.
