taurus tcp?

I've had several come through in our classes.

Some work well, some don't.

As noted above, many have serious issues while some seem less afflicted.

Although the light trigger is nice, reliability as the legendary Jeff Cooper stated is the most important criteria in a defensive pistol.

It is critical to test & confirm the reliability of any firearm intended for use as a self defense gun.... regardless of how well or poorly anyone else's works.

i purchased one myself love it and no problems plus the price point is unbeatable payed 190 brand new shipped

Had one for well over a year. Carry it every day in my back pocket. Shot probably 400 rounds through it with no problems. Surprisingly accurate for a pocket pistol.

Sounds like If you buy a new one you should get a very good gun. But unlike some of my guns, and what it seems some óthers do too :(
I would definitely take it to the range before i would carry it. And shooting a 380 mouse gun aint no fun at all. For me anyway.

I have a shield (great gun) but looking to get a true deep concealment mouse gun. I am really drawn to the tcp but wanted to hear feedback from some peeps. Btw, thanks for the feedback. It is always appreciated.

Apparently the newer models have been fixed. I spoke with cherokee gun about it and googled it. The barrel issues and ftf,fte issues have been resolved. They made a change in design. Just fyi. Thanls again for input

Sounds like it's time for me to send mine back in. I've got an early version and sent it back once. Still stovepiped and failed to feed and extract. I generally like the Taurus products but this one left me with a gun in the cabinet that I wouldn't use due to its unreliable nature. Would love to have another .380. I like the P3AT I have but would like to carry the TCP.
