The Alcoholic Beverage Thread.....What are you drinking?

I am currently drinking my own Hard apple cider (Single Shot Brewery's Mish-Mash Cider). It needs another week or two of conditioning as it is a tad yeasty still.

For beer, I am partial to Oatmeal Stouts and porters, Founder's Breakfast Stout and Breckenridge Vanilla Porter are my current favorites.

I currently have a Breakfast Stout clone in the primary (it will be ready in 4-5 weeks).

For spirits, I am partial to Irish Whiskey and Scotch. For Irish, I like Knappogue Castle. For Scotch, my current favorite is Compass Box Spice Tree.

Just tried one from the Clown Shoes Brewery called Vampire Slayer. 10%abv and delicious/

Inspired by this thread I decided to go to the adult beverage store. Tonight I decided on some Koji Sake. Any of my sushi lovers out there know why Sake give you like a 5 min buzz then goes away? It's crazy. I've had a few shots and it's almost like it goes away after 15 mins. haha. that sounds so alcoholic. There is a great member that got a one year token today and I am asking why Sake doesn't get you drunk like Bourbon. Oh man. Sorry guys. it's technically my Saturday right now. While everyone else is out drinking on weekends I am working..
Hot Sake is soooo good.

PS, My grandfather Faulkner is rolling in his grave with every shot I take.

edit: in college my asian roommate couldn't drink for squat. Now that I think of it most my asian friends don't really drink and when they do they get hammered easy. My current GF is Korean. She had two glasses of wine last night and turned into Stripperealla.
