When I see a glock $150 over retail that's stock... Makes me just want to leave the comment "holy **** your high" in the comment section. Then move on.
@Targetmaster. Anything to haggle over? (sorry couldn't help myself, thinking about goats.) I know, wrong, just wrong.

I go with the fair price approach. If it's a fair price, and I am willing to pay it, I'll pay it. If it's too high, I'll offer what I'll be willing to pay, and then be done. You are correct, the art of haggling is probably gone, the days of getting on ones haunches and drawing with a stick in the dirt are far behind.
I have stopped making offers. In the past have even tried sending a link with the retail price if they are over retail and still accused of low ball. AR 15-22s, Heritage 22's, Glock 42 & 43, most PSA AR's come to mind.

I agree...sometimes making an offer less than the asking price is the only way to get it to a reasonable amount vs the new (+) asking price. It's not so much just asking to be asking. I bought items priced right to begin with and never even wanted to ask lower.
Ever paid more because the person didn't know any better?
