In a nutshell:
Form 1 to manufacture MG is sent by a Trust with cover letter that it is legal to do so since the NFA prohibits manufacture by individual persons and trusts are not legally considered persons.

ATF approves the Form-1 (by OP in paper form) along with several hundred other Form-1s sent electronically.

ATF immediately changes decisions and notifies all recipients that status has changed to Denied after sending out the approvals and tax-stamps
ARFCOM is going ape**** and contacting NFA lawyers.

Plans are to start a legal fund with over $10000 already pledged towards it in less than 24 hours

Unfortunately I'm sure ATF will get what it wants. I hope not by a long shot. I really hope the courts hand the ATF and Eric Holder their collective butts!

Yes, I sent a short cover letter and attached a copy of the ATF letter stating trusts were not persons.

The cover letter pointed out that per their own ATF letter trusts were not "persons" and therefore did not fall under 922o and as such please approve the Form 1 in accordance with the law.

I'll have to go back and find a copy of my original letter. The ATF agent on the phone had no idea I had submitted a cover letter.

There is legal standing and perhaps we can restore some tiny bit of our rights that were stolen by those entrusted to protect them. I loved Regan but hated him for this trampling of our rights.

We were always intended to be as well armed as a common foot soldier. The small arms in common use with both military and civilian should not be regulated by an alphabet bureaucracy branch of the executive office to determine what we can't do with our small arms.

Oh lawdy! Hope this stays low key to a sense. Thankfully gun control nuts seem to be oblivious to NFA items...I would like to keep it that way...lol

There are several people out there with approved eF1s for an MG via a trust. They all got calls today revoking the approved status and emails changing their "approved" form status to "disapproved."

I was told the number of eF1 Trust MG applications was "several hundred."

Strength in numbers when filing a lawsuit.

Good luck. As much as I'd like to see this happen (EYE HAZ MACHINEGUNZ FOUR SAIL), the Supreme Court has said that trusts are "persons", which effectively kills this.

This^

Its just not going to happen. The only way we could is to push legislation through as a rider on another bill. Just like how they passed this stupid law in the first place.
