There is a company (can't remember the name) that is taking a 2016 Camaro and turning it into a Trans Am. Complete with the screaming chicken decal ,T-tops, rear spoiler and an 840 HP motor. I think the price was $115,000.

Since we're talkin' TAs here, does anybody know of a really good paint/body/restoration shop that has a lot of experience handling TransAms? I have an all original '76, except for a few engine goodies, that I bought from a friend in 1979. It is a 455 4 speed car. White with buckskin interior. It has been a work in progress for many years. I started collecting new flares and bolt-on parts over 20 years ago. Engine work was done by Barnett racing, and all of the mechanical was freshened up many years ago also. I need to find someone with a car hauler trailer, so I can get it to the muffler shop, and then I am in search for someone to meticulously do the paint and assembly.
