It's good stuff. I got lucky a few months ago and found it behind some other bourbons on a lower shelf. I was shocked to see it there. It rang up as a managers special and was I think $65.
The batch I had before this one was a slightly higher proof, but Stagg Jr has always been pretty good imo.

It’s $299 at my favorite store.

Hi Guys,

Just a little update... WallsGA, GAK9 and I met (virtually) to discuss our progress on the private barrel purchase. The main things we still need to get lined up:

1. A liquor store (owner) that is not anti gun.
2. An owner that is amenable to a private barrel purchase for ODT members, meaning we get first dibs before the public.
3. We are committed to securing a barrel with broad appeal so there are no issues with it selling.
4. We are also committed to the best we can get. A barrel of Willett or Weller would obviously be amazing but our chances are not great, although we will definitely try.
5. We are also trying to target something special and from Kentucky. MGP makes a great distillate, but it's from Indiana and widely sold by many different producers, which puts a damper on its uniqueness.

We could use your help if you know a liquor store owner preferably in the greater metro area. If you know an owner, please ask them if they will help us with this barrel. If they will, please PM me the contact. Thank you! More updates to come as we continue to learn and work on this project. We are making progress, but really need a liquor store at this time. Cheers!
