Shortbarrel any good? People in the bourbon groups gluck Gluck 3000 them, but is it really worth the price?
they're an NDP so it all matters on the barrel. like the name they specifically go for short barrels which i think tends to help give them more pop. Alot of places that have store picks will let you sample them so i'd try before buy and see what you think becuase it could be from brown forman, MGP, turkey or any number of distilleries. They also have several finished bourbons in honey, toasted, maple all sorts of stuff.
That being said they have put out some AMAZING barrels. Grapes and grains currently has a very good bourbon but my favorite they have put out were 12 year old 95/5 MGP ryes that were some of the best i've ever had.
the older ones do tend to be pricey just because older barrels cost more and these barrels never produce much (almost always less than 100)
