Most of the 18 yr olds I've sent lately are pretty harsh and disrespectful.
Prolly tasting more of that barrel. Thats what I found in the Knob Creek 12. Like the 9 better.

Funny how the psyche works. Been watching some blind tasting YouTube vids. Eagle Rare placed better than Blantons and EH Taylor didn't fair that well in another. Early Times placed better than several at half the price. Weller antique 107. One that I never see on the shelf. Didn't do that well either. I got some Weller special reserve. Drinks ok. Everybody has a different palate I guess but, you will know what it is with the blindfold on
So it's been a few years now since I gave up the hooch. I have a bottle of the first run of James T Kirk bourbon. Was produced by silverscreen bottling. Back then it was 60$ a bottle. I bought two, drank one. Anyone interested in this? It's not produced any longer since silverscreen got into legal trouble with one of their John Wick lines. I'd be willing to trade for it. 9mm, 223, 556, or 300 ACC... offers accepted.

I remember when Blanton's was (I think) $30 - 40...it was just 8 years ago or so. I used to buy it by the case...
Blantons is one I’ve actually never had. Chad pretty much all the other products but that one.
