No worries bud, no insult taken. WLW I'm sure is a stellar bottle by all accounts. I've heard nothing but great things about it. For me, I just see getting a Pappy bottle is like chasing a unicorn. You always here about it but never see them in the wild so to speak. To me, the Pappy brand (rightly or wrongly) is one of those names that is up there on the Mount Rushmore of bourbons. If I am fortunate to get one, it might be hard to crack it open at first knowing how difficult they are to come by. Time will tell!

I 100% would turn around and sell the 15 or 23 in the secondary market in a second. Unless it is genuine fountain of youth reversing aging no reason not to sell it to put one of the kids through college. That or leave it on the shelf and just ogle and fondle it from time to time. The times I have had pours of each of them it was priced by ounce. The 23 was $175/oz. Glad that was expensed. Ha!

They are expensive but you're not paying for college. Maybe a class or three.

Castle and key is probably one of my favorite places to go. I’ve been twice. It’s absolutely beautiful.

It’s ok, but I definitely have hope it will get better over time. On the tour, they said “give us 10 years”.

This. One of the worst bottles I've bought. I kept hearing and thought it can't be that bad... yep it can be. Distillery is gorgeous though.
