I’m currently a big fan of this. About $25, sometimes less.

Eagle Rare is a good, basic $40 (or so) Bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery. If you're new to bourbon, try a sip straight, then add an ice cube and see how the taste and mouthfeel changes. Some guys are straight bourbon only, some guys will drink a $100 bottle on the rocks. It's all up to your personal taste...

I saw a video with Elmer Lee where he said he liked some sprite with his bourbon .

this was always another go to for value. Id checkout benchmark bonded, its pretty mcuh on par but you can find it for 7.50 a bottle at some places. right now i'd call it the undisputed champ of value.

I have a buddy in Lexington whose wife was his personal assistant at Buffalo Trace for over 10 years. He definitely mixed when sipping casually.

I just tried a bottle of the Evan Williams BIB... it's was good, but I think I like the EW 1783 a little better.
