The Official ODT Bourbon Club

I picked up a few bottles today, has anyone ever tried the Bookers? The guy at the liquor store said it was amazing so I bought it. Im looking forward to trying it but I might wait for a better occasion before opening it up.
I picked up that batch a few weeks ago but haven’t opened it. I still have a batch open from last year. Let us know if you open it.

Tried the previous batch that was highly reviewed everywhere I looked and absolutely hated it. However, I've never liked any Jim Beam products so not too surprising. My brother who used to love Booker's when it was still $50-60 a bottle, also hated it. I wouldn't have even bought it had I not happened to see it for $84.99. Never heard whether or not the guy I gave it to liked it.

How about this one! This is a train set from the 1970s early '70s. The Jim beam Bourbon in nice and this train set was 7 years old when it was bought back then so that makes it almost 60 years old. It's a complete train set with one of each kind of car and of course the locomotive and the caboose. Every one of the pieces has a fifth of 60-year-old bourbon in it it was never opened and it's been setting in the boxes since 1971. I don't know about bourbon but it's supposed to get better with age so I imagine 60-year-old bourbon is pretty delicious if that's the way it goes. Anyway I took pictures of the boxes of what car is which. One of the side cars even have a sliding door that has the spout in it. I was there picking up my new AR-10 match set and he showed me this and I thought it was one of the coolest things that I've ever laid eyes on. I'm posting pics. My phone crashed before I could get all the pics but he took one of the train cars out and took a picture and sent it to me or text it to me rather so I'm going to try to get that put up as well.
