Nice! Love a good wheater. What is the sale price?

Hard to pass on a decent priced eagle rare.

At towers in doraville today

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up a bottle of Eagle Rare for my Dad's birthday, it's his favorite. I haven't seen it that low in a long while.

I also picked up a 1.75 of Elijah Craig small batch for me at a very good price, $47.98

Okay so the two bottles this first quarter that I would probably pay significantly more for, that I’ve tried and acquired: makers mark CASK strength 46 French oaked, nutty almost cacao (think chewing on a coffee bean) light sweetness and days long finish. And the Starlight Carl Huber toasted double oaked, it is like peerless double oaked that’s also been toasted big vanilla, burnt caramel, maybe like a butterscotch candy note ? Absolutely phenomenal. Both 5x better than this years pappy releases (except maybe lot B)

Recent pick ups.

I like the 13th Colony Rye a lot.

The Bulleit 12yr Rye is terrible, tastes like dirt mixed with grass clippings to me.

The Russell's Single Barrel I found for $49.99 compared to $69.99 most places. It's pretty good, but has an odd peppermint flavor on the finish.

The Chattanooga Founder's bottle was something I'd never seen from their line. I think it's a decent pour, but I probably wouldn't buy another.

The Green River I bought mainly cause it was cheap and had a lot of hype online. It did not remotely live up to said hype.

An acquaintance of my brother hooked us up with a sample of Jack Daniels Sinatra Select. It's pretty good, especially considering I hate regular JD, but not good enough to be near the price it usually goes for.
